BASE RED is a rinsing solution able to remove antibiotics from various human tissues intended for transplantation (cardiovascular and osteotendon tissue), after decontamination.

The solution also removes the DMSO residues from tissues after cryopreservation and preserves the integrity of the tissue, due to the proprietary formula based on RPMI 1640.

Phenol red allows to detect variations in the solution pH, indicative of potential bacterial contamination.

The BASE RED rinsing solution can also be used for tissue transport to the bank or during tissue dissection.
