 VEDO is the first staining solution to be used intraoperatively to visualize the vitreous body during vitrectomy. After injection of the product in the vitreous cavity, the visualizing agent diffuses into the aqueous component of the vitreous, due to its steric hindrance VEDO allows a clear spatial view of the posterior chamber and an accurate removal of the vitreous. |
