heavySIL 1500 at Retina Society 2011

retina2011

The annual meeting of the Retina Society (Rome, September 22-25, 2011) will be the best opportunity to learn more about the clinical findings of the studies carried out so far on heavySIL 1500, to which a presentation is dedicated.

The studies were performed on 24 patients in 3 different Italian hospitals. Based on the results, we can conclude that heavySIL 1500 minimizes the postoperative complications and possesses all the necessary characteristics to become an indispensable tool for vitreoretinal surgery.

A lecture presenting the scientific results of the studies, with the following title: "Use of heavySIL 1500, a new heavier than water endotamponade, in complicated retinal detachment surgery" will be delivered by Prof. Cesare Mariotti.

The lecture will be held on Friday, September 23 at 10:00 a.m. For further information, visit the webpage http://www.retinasociety.org.
