Removal of CRYO.ON (DMSO) from cryopreserved human tissues. Validation of the rinsing procedure after thawing.
A rinsing procedure to remove DMSO (CRYO.ON) from cryopreserved tissues, after thawing, was validated in collaboration with Italian Tissue Banks.
The study included a preliminary research on pig hearth valve and subsequent validation on human skin and hearth valve.
Results were presented at the CRYO 2010, Bristol, UK and EATB2010, Berlin, Germany.
