What is Corneal Chamber?
Corneal Chamber containing Eusol-C is a completely synthetic medium for corneal storage at 4°C for up to 14 days.
The solution contains a single antibiotic at an effective dose for a higher stability of the medium. Before use, the product can be stored at room temperature and it can stand peak temperatures during transport. The phenol red indicator allows a rapid visualization of pH variations.
The optically clear vial bottom allows to evaluate cornea by specular microscopes (e.g. Konan, Hailabs) with no need to transfer it to another container, thus reducing the risk of contamination.
DEC are ocular prostheses for cosmetic reconstructions of the donor eye, after corneal excision. The product can be used together with disinfectants and preserves the normal shape of the eyelid successfully.
