eyeDRO stems from a perfect balance of three polysaccharide polymers with specific functions for a complete protection of the epithelium during surgical operations. Its innovative formula allows a reabsorption of the corneal edema 6 times faster than using the BSS, thus ensuring very high comfort for the patient.
What is eyeDRO?
eyeDRO is an advanced polysaccharide blend for a stable and long-lasting hydration of the corneal surface and an effective protection of the corneal epithelium during ophthalmic surgery and in ophthalmology.
A single eyeDRO application during cataract surgery replaces all BSS applications and provides optical clarity and magnification up to 15% of the underlying structures. eyeDRO is therefore a magnifier.
eyeDRO is used during vitreoretinal surgery instead of BSS. One, or maximum two applications, of eyeDRO provide stable support to the vitrectomy lens during vitreoretinal surgery.
eyeDRO is easily washed out with saline solutions.
